Broadway Dance Intensive

Workshop Description

Musical theater dancers are, first and foremost, actors that place a high focus on musical interpretation. In this workshop, participants will learn musical theater-style choreography and dance technique. They will also work on how to pick up choreography quickly and how to tell a story through movement. All participants will need to bring dance shoes (jazz or ballet). This workshop will be run by Victoria Leckie, owner & choreographer of the Main Stage and Petite Production musicals. We will meet once a week for 4 weeks and conclude with a small showcase on the final day.
