Description
In our one-day Costume Design Workshop, students will explore how clothing helps tell stories and bring characters to life. Through drawing and crafting, students will design original costume designs inspired by theater, film, and imagination. Then we will take a step "backstage" to learn about costuming during a production, through quick-change exercises and wardrobe tracks. Students will build artistic skills and confidence all while starting or adding to their portfolios. This workshop will be run by our Production Costume Designer, Olivia Geraci. Who has recently graduated from SCAD with her degree in fashion, minoring in costume design, and is currently working on productions in all aspects at the Paramount Theatre in Aurora; credits include: White Christmas, Million Dollar Quartet, Dear Evan Hanson, South Pacific. Cancellation Policy
If you can no longer participate, please let us know 24 hrs before the first day of class. Refund requests will be accepted up to 1 hour after the first day, otherwise registration is non-refundable. Registration will close 3 days before workshops starts.
