Kids Theater Workshop! Tuesdays, 3:00 – 4:00 PM | September 15 – November 10* Kindergarten – 3rd Grade The creative team at MOVE Productions is excited to bring a brand-new enrichment opportunity to the younger performers at Isaac Fox Elementary School! Kids Theater Workshop is a fun, welcoming introduction to the world of theater where students in Kindergarten through 3rd Grade can explore their creativity, build confidence, and shine before they hit the big stage. Throughout this 8-week workshop, students will learn the basics of acting and performance through theater games, storytelling, imaginative activities, scenes from movies and musicals, and age-appropriate performance exercises. Students will have opportunities to work together, use their imaginations, express themselves, and discover the joy of performing in a supportive and encouraging environment. Theater is about so much more than being on stage! Students will build confidence, communication skills, teamwork, creativity, problem-solving, listening skills, focus, self-expression, and the ability to step outside their comfort zones. These are skills that can benefit them both in and out of the classroom. The session will culminate in a small showcase for families during the final 20 minutes of our last class (Nov. 10), giving students the chance to share what they've learned and celebrate their hard work with the people who support them most! MOVE Productions is proud to be the theater company that produces Isaac Fox Elementary's 4th & 5th Grade Spring Musical, and we're thrilled to now offer an opportunity for our younger performers to discover their love of theater before they take the stage in the spring! Come play, create, perform, and have fun with MOVE Productions! No previous theater experience is necessary, just bring your imagination and your enthusiasm! Registration fee will be collected via online link one week before class starts. An email with that and any additional info will be sent by Sept. 7. *No school Nov. 3.
