Dear MOVE Families,

 

We are writing with a heavy heart to share that we will not be producing our two anticipated summer productions this year.

 

Unfortunately, our original rental space was unexpectedly sold, and the new owners are not able to accommodate our scheduled rehearsal and performance dates. Over the past several weeks, we have worked hard to find an alternative venue that could support productions of our size, but all viable options are either already booked or under construction for the summer.

 

We are incredibly disappointed, as we know how much our students and families look forward to these shows each year. Please know that we truly explored every possibility before making this decision.

 

That said, we are using this time to strengthen MOVE Productions, and to secure wonderful spaces for our fall season and beyond. While we won’t have full productions this summer, we will still be offering performance-based intensive workshops that will conclude with a showcase. Which is perfect for those who want to continue growing their skills and staying involved. Those dates and location will be announced very soon.

 

We also wanted to share this news now to give families who are seeking a full production experience time to find other summer opportunities.

 

If we don’t see you at a workshop, please know we will miss you dearly this summer and cannot wait to be back together again this fall.
